Welcome to the NIQ-TM Business Analytics & Consulting Competition—an innovative platform that combines data analytics, consulting, and business strategy. Jointly organized by NielsenIQ Vietnam and TM Data School, this competition presents a unique opportunity for Vietnamese students to tackle a real-world business case with the theme of "Market Entry".

Competition Overview:
•  Registration: Form a team of 3 and register online between 12th - 23rd September.
•  Eligibility: Open to Vietnamese undergraduate students worldwide and early-career professionals with less than 6 months of work experience.

The competition will take place over three rounds:
•  Round 1 (24th - 30th September):
- Mass training followed by a Business Analytics & Strategy multiple-choice quiz challenge.
- The top 12 teams will be announced on 30th September.

•  Round 2 (9th - 18th October):
- Exclusive training for the top 12 teams.
- A 24-hour Hackathon focused on solving a Market Entry business case.
- The top 4 teams will be announced on 18th October.

•  Finale (23rd October):
- Before the finale, the top 4 teams will receive mentorship from the judges to create a comprehensive data-driven consulting plan.
- The top 4 teams will present their 2 solutions.
- The best 2 teams will engage in a debate to determine the champion.

• Vietnamese undergraduate students worldwide and early career less than 6-month work experience
• Student is NOT a current or former employee of NielsenIQ or TM Data School
• Students must form a team of 3 members to register.

Ms. Huynh Bich Tran

Tran has 16 years of experience in Market Research Industry and has been with NIQ for more than 14 years.

She has held various client-facing leadership roles, including Vietnam Customer Success Lead, Retailer Vertical Lead, South East Asia Client Deployment Lead for a Program, and currently she is Client Operations Lead for Vietnam, Philippines and Myanmar.

Thuong has more than 7 years of experience in NIQ. She worked with leading FMCG manufacturers in different industries in Vietnam for the first 4 years, then moved to Thailand to lead the Retailer Customer Success team, collaborating with key retailer chains.

Currently, Thuong holds the position of Senior Manager in NIQ APAC Above Market team, supplying business insights and consultation for two of G14 clients (NIQ’s global biggest 14 clients).

Uy has variety of experience in consulting FMCG/Pharma Clients in Distribution Management System and Digital Transformation, in which is capable to support Client’s business operation.

He possesses a strong foundation in Big Data, AI, and Machine Learning from his Master's program at the National University of Singapore, ranked #6 globally in Data Science & AI (QS World University Ranking 2025). He is also currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, the #1 globally ranked EMBA program (Fortune, 2024).

Tony is business analytics and client engagement expert with 8+ years of B2B experiences evolving from operational to strategic commercial positions in FMCG industry.

He has been with NielsenIQ for 7 years with extensive experience in Vietnam, across FMCG players. He is a business development & challenge enthusiast, turned towards enhanced customer's experience.

Tony currently holds the position of commercial director in NielsenIQ Vietnam, where he oversees NielsenIQ’s partnerships with the all FMCG manufacturers across solutions.

Kristine boasts 19 years of experience in market research, including a substantial 16-year tenure at NIQ across the Philippines and Vietnam.

Prior to her current role as Customer Success Lead in Vietnam, she held positions as Client Service and Account Development Lead in the Philippines and Consulting Lead.

Mr. Le Hoang Long

Long has been with NielsenIQ for more than 10 years with extensive experience across Vietnam and Middle East markets. Throughout his career, Long has served as a trusted advisor to retailers and suppliers, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both sides of the retail industry.

Additionally, Long is a seasoned category management expert, regularly conducting training and coaching sessions for retailers and suppliers on assortment, price, promotion, & merchandising. He is the youngest associate certified as a trainer in Category Management in NielsenIQ Vietnam.

Currently, Long holds the position of Senior Manager for Retailer Vertical in NielsenIQ Vietnam, where he oversees NielsenIQ’s partnerships with the biggest retailers in Vietnam.

Ms. Duong Hong My Linh

Linh is currently a Senior Manager at NIQ Consumer & Marketing Insights and is responsible for HCMC Client development and relationship management. During her 8 years of experience in the industry, Linh has worked on multiple types of research projects and serviced a wide portfolio of clients, primarily in FMCG and Retail. Besides NIQ, Linh also has experience at the client side and in user research for product development in the fintech industry.
